Conquest Equipment Group is proud to reaffirm its commitment to environmental stewardship by participating in Clean Up Australia Day 2025. A team of 10 enthusiastic volunteers, representing all areas of the organisation, will take part in this meaningful initiative on Tuesday, 25th February, in Melbourne. Dressed in branded high-visibility vests and sun-safe bucket hats, the team will be easily recognisable as they work together to make a tangible difference in their local community.
Clean Up Australia Day is the nation’s largest community-based environmental initiative and has been an integral part of Australian culture for over 35 years. Since its inception, more than 22 million Australians have rolled up their sleeves and pulled on their gloves to contribute to the preservation of Australia’s natural environment. Schools, community groups, businesses, and individuals alike have joined forces in this collective effort to maintain the presentation and sustainability of shared spaces.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that Conquest Equipment Group has participated in Clean Up Australia Day. Previous efforts have seen the company’s volunteers take on sites in Sydney, Brisbane, and along Melbourne’s Yarra River. This year, the team has selected Birrarung Marr (Federation Bells) in Melbourne, an identified “litter hot spot,” as their area of focus. Following the clean-up, the volunteers will be welcomed back to Conquest Equipment Group’s head office in Tullamarine for a well-deserved lunch in appreciation for their time and dedication.
Jade Hamilton, Head of Marketing at Conquest Equipment Group, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the initiative. “As an Australian-owned and operated supplier of large maintenance equipment for the presentation of indoor and outdoor facilities, Conquest Equipment Group is invested in keeping Australia beautiful. We don’t shy away from getting our hands dirty and doing our bit for the environment, and the communities in which we operate.”
She further highlighted the broader benefits of participating in Clean Up Australia Day, stating “It’s a fantastic way to engage staff, foster team spirit, promote sustainability, and support our organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility objectives.”
The initiative not only contributes to the presentation and sustainability of public spaces but also provides an opportunity for employees to connect outside their usual work environment. The shared experience fosters camaraderie, strengthens teamwork, and reinforces a sense of collective responsibility towards the environment and the community.
While the team of volunteers will be actively collecting litter by hand during the event, Conquest Equipment Group remains committed to providing innovative equipment solutions for efficient and effective maintenance of public and private spaces. The company offers a comprehensive range of industrial cleaning and maintenance equipment, including Conquest industrial sweepers and scrubbers, EcoTeq electric commercial lawn mowers and street sweepers, as well as utility task vehicles (UTVs) and electric work vehicles. Sourced from leading pioneers in Europe and the USA, the solutions offered enable businesses and municipalities to efficiently manage facility presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene, while minimising their environmental impact.
While the team participate in Clean Up Australia Day, operations at Conquest Equipment Group’s Melbourne facility will continue uninterrupted. A dedicated crew will remain on-site to ensure that customers continue to receive the highest level of service and support throughout the day.
Conquest Equipment Group takes great pride in its ongoing involvement in Clean Up Australia Day and looks forward to continuing its efforts in promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
