Dulux is Australia’s largest paint manufacturer. Their new 27,000m² pain factory in Melbourne’s Northern outskirts presents many floor cleaning challenges. The inevitable paint and powder spillages along with the external dust from surrounded construction sites means there is never a shortage of floor cleaning challenges.
Operations Manager, David King contacted Conquest to identify the perfect solution to the new factory environment. “To test things out, we went to another factory with a dirty old floor, spilled paint on it and got Conquest to demonstrate if their recommended machine would suck up paint without leaving stains behind.”
The Conquest Carbon walk-behind scrubber was tasked with this job. Built around a powder-coated steel chassis, the Conquest Carbon is designed to last in the toughest of environments. Featuring powerful cylindrical brushes to reach deep into uneven surfaces, getting where other power scrubbers fail to reach, the Conquest Carbon delivers a powerful clean in a compact and efficient machine. Dulux purchased two Conquest Carbon walk-behind scrubbers to assist with their paint problem. What’s more with the service agreement in place, Conquest come to them when machines require servicing or a breakdown occurs, giving David and the team the team one less thing to worry about.
“…They’re always there to help you out. And they make sure you’ve got the right equipment for the job. They don’t sell you something for the sake of it…” – David King, Operation Manager.
