The Challenge
In northern Victoria, a large storage warehouse for Visy Food had difficulty keeping the floor area clean and free from litter and dust.
Their previous use of contract cleaners had proven to be not as successful as they originally thought. The cleanliness of the factory soon attested to be ineffective and the cleaning tasks were not been completed regularly enough.
Visy needed a reliable, on-site, “all-day-everyday” solution.
The Solution
Conquest worked with Visy’s material handling supplier and site manager providing site assessments, recommendations and demonstrations. Conquest recommended the PB 115 LPG ride-on floor sweeper due to its ultra heavy duty construction and the superiority of performance and customer service.
Conquest sweepers are manufactured to the highest standard with full powder coated steel frames, which are far more durable than machines manufactured from plastic.
Simple controls and operation of the sweeper was also imperative for Visy, as the machine is to be used by many and varied operators. No company wants high training costs. The Conquest sweepers have the simplest control panels with minimal electronics.
The Result
With the machine now in full operation, it is successfully cleaning Visy Foods’s ever growing warehouses and production areas.
